Transport from the airport

The Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport is located in the south-western part of Warsaw - 10 km from the city centre.

A shuttle bus service will take conference participants from the airport to the recommended hotels (Hilton Warsaw, Holiday Inn, Jan III Sobieski, Mercure Fryderyk Chopin and Kyriad Prestige).

The shuttle buses will leave the airport on 27 May every 90 minutes between 12.00 am. and 10.30 p.m. The departure times are as follows:

• 12.00 a.m.
• 01.30 p.m.
• 03.00 p.m.
• 04.30 p.m.
• 06.00 p.m.
• 07.30 p.m.
• 09.00 p.m.
• 10.30 p.m.

On 28 May the shuttle service will leave depart from the airport every 90 minutes between 8.30 a.m. and 1 p.m. The departure times are as follows:

• 08.30 a.m.
• 10.00 a.m.
• 11.30 a.m.
• 13.00 a.m.

There will be an information point for conference participants in the Arrival Hall at Terminal 2. Please look for the "PATLIB2008" banner. Conference participants are requested to proceed to the information point for help with the shuttle buses.

By bus

The following buses provide a round-the-clock service to the city centre:

Municipal bus service (MZA)

Line 175 from the airport to the city centre runs seven days a week between 4.50 a.m. and 11.00 p.m.

Night service

line N32 operates between the airport and Warszawa Centralna (Central Railway Station) from 11.09 p.m. to 04.39 a.m.

You can buy bus tickets at the newspaper stands in the terminals or from bus drivers (at an additional charge).

The airport advises against using unlicensed taxi services for security reasons.

The taxi fare from the airport to the Hilton Warsaw Hotel and Convention Center is around PLN 35 (EUR 10) during the day and PLN 45 (EUR 13) at night.
