Reception at Stockholm City Hall

This year's conference reception will take place at the Stockholm City Hall. As well as being the main symbol of the capital of Sweden, the City Hall is the seat of the Stockholm city council; around 200 politicians and civil servants have their offices in this building. The City Hall boasts the most exclusive ballroom in Stockholm, and it is the chosen venue for many ceremonies and award presentations, as well as official receptions and events, including state visits. The most famous event that takes place in City Hall is the annual Nobel Banquet.

Visit to Skansen and Conference dinner at the Solliden Dining Room

Skansen is the world's oldest open-air museum and is situated
on the island of Djurgården a few minutes away from the centre of Stockholm.
Visitors to Skansen meet a miniature historical Sweden reflected both in the
buildings and their surroundings - from the Skåne farmstead in the south to the
Sami camp in the north. The venues illustrate the different social conditions
in which people lived in Sweden
between the 16th century and the first half of the 20th century. The majority
of houses and farmsteads are from the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries.

Conference dinner:
20.00 hrs
The visit to Skansen will be followed by the conference dinner at the
Solliden Dining Room. This is a beautifully decorated Stockholm restaurant
located on the premises of Skansen, with a fantastic view of the city. Dinner will be a traditional Swedish classic: the extensive
smorgåsbord.
