The European Patent Organisation is an intergovernmental organisation set up pursuant to the European Patent Convention which entered into force in 1977. The EPO may invite pre-selected bidders to present their bids in Munich within two weeks after the final date for receipt of the bids. The related costs incurred by the bidders will not be reimbursed by the EPO.
