The European Patent Organisation is an intergovernmental organisation set up pursuant to the European Patent Convention which entered into force in 1977. The executive body of the EPO is the European Patent Office, which is charged with the searching and examination of European patent applications and the granting of European patents. It employs approximately 6 700 staff at EPO headquarters in Munich, a branch at The Hague/Rijswijk (NL) and sub-offices in Berlin and Vienna. Assisting the European Patent Office's medical adviser in Munich.
Within 30 days of receipt of a correct invoice.
Specialist qualification in general and internal medicine with subspecialty training in occupational and insurance medicine.
At least 10 years’ professional experience.
European Patent Office's premises in Munich (PH Phase VII, Bayerstrasse 115, 80335 Munich, Germany).
The contract shall enter into force upon signature by both parties and shall remain valid for one year.
The contract period shall automatically be extended (a maximum of 4 (four) times) for a further 12 months, provided it is not terminated in writing by the EPO with a notice period of 3 (three) months. The contract shall thus end at the latest 5 (five) years after its signature.

If several bidders submit a joint bid, one must be designated as prime contractor responsible for performance of all obligations under the contract.

Only bids containing the evidence referred to in point 8 will be allowed.
The contract is expected to be awarded in May 2012.
