Languages
The EPO's long-term aim is to provide all content in the EPO's official languages, German, English and French. It was not possible to translate all areas into all languages in the first step, so you will find that some pages are only available in English.
However, all official notices and announcements, the information relating to the grant procedure and the legal texts will, of course, continue to be available in all three official languages on the website.
If you encounter a page that is not yet available in your language, the text will automatically display in English, while leaving the surrounding navigation in German or French. In these cases a warning will appear at the top of the page informing you that your language version is missing.
We have set priorities for the translation of the remaining areas and we will continue to work on the missing content in the coming months.
