To meet rising demand from patent system users and society in general, the EPO is implementing new tools and processes to improve the quality, availability and timeliness of its services to external clients.
Despite these efforts, users may sometimes feel they have cause for complaint. Therefore, as of 1 January 2014, the EPO is also adding a form to its website (www.epo.org/complaints) so that they can submit complaints more easily.
Users wishing to make a complaint about any EPO product or service should use this new online form, which will enable the EPO to harmonise the way it handles complaints and to address the underlying issue in a timely manner.
