The PATLIB conference is the annual meeting place of the patent information centres and national patent offices of the EPO's member states.

PATLIB2014 is YOUR networking event.

REGISTER NOW

(deadline: 15 April 2014)

The programme committee has worked hard to draft a call for abstracts that addresses the issues you face in your daily work:

  • relationship management
  • improving IP awareness
  • services beyond pure patent information dissemination
  • validating the quality of your services
  • assuring PATLIBs' sustainability

A full programme will be available in late February 2014.

PATLIB2014 will be your opportunity to share best practices and experience with other PATLIB centres in Europe.

Meet your counterparts at PATLIB2014 and make the most of the event to learn from one another either during the presentations, discussion rounds or social events. We look forward to welcoming you at PATLIB2014 in Istanbul!

Special hotel offer for staff of PATLIB centres

Important: Visas for entry into Turkey

Visas are no longer issued at the airport on arrival in Turkey!

The new regulations as of April 2014 specify that visas must be acquired in advance. We advise you to obtain an “evisa” as recommended by the Turkish authorities; this is quicker and less expensive.

Please check the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs website before your departure for Istanbul to make sure whether you need a visa: https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en/tour/

At the time of publication of this page, citizens for the following EPO member states require a visa to enter Turkey (costs: 20 USD).

  • Austria
  • Belgium
  • Croatia
  • Cyprus

  • Hungary
  • Ireland
