What is the EPO Patent Information Conference?
The EPO Patent Information Conference is one of the leading patent information events in Europe. It is not only a conference, but also a public exhibition, a training event and a meeting point for professionals in the field. This year's event is organised in co-operation with the Directorate General for the Fight against Counterfeiting - Italian Patent and Trademark Office (UIBM).
Who are the attendees?
The delegates include Europe's big users of patent information as well as participants from around the world. In 2012 more than 450 people attended the EPO Patent Information Conference held in Hamburg
Participation fee
Participation fee: EUR 530
Additional fee for training courses on 21 and 24 October: EUR 50 per course
Price for accompanying persons attending the dinners:
22 October 2013: EUR 100
23 October 2013: EUR 90

Catering
A welcome drink will be served in the exhibition area of the Palazzo della Cultura e dei Congressi between 17.30 and 19.00 hrs on Monday 21 October. On conference days, refreshments will be served on site. Lunch will be provided on 22 to 23 October (not for accompanying persons), but not on 21 or 24 October.

This year's EPO evening event will take place at the Palazzo Albergati, which is a short bus ride outside Bologna.
Registration desk
The conference registration desk will be open on Monday, 21 October, from 14.00 - 19.00 hrs and from 08.00 hrs onwards on 22, 23 and 24 October.

Transport
The EPO will offer delegates a set of ten bus tickets for transport within Bologna, together with information on the bus network.
The City of Bologna keeps a welcome desk at the airport, and will be in a position to advise delegates on the conference, and any local questions, upon arrival.
