DieWerke Lento 2 (Llerana) und Zona Sombra (Llerana) zeigen abs trakte Formationen. Es lassen sich Natureindrücke assoziieren, ohne diese jedoch vorzugeben. Uslé malt abstrakt und durchsetzt die For men- und Farbräume in seinen Bil dern gelegentlich mit wiederer kennbaren Objekten. Die beiden Fo tografien zeugen zwar vom Blick des Malers, folgen jedoch nicht der starken Farbigkeit seiner Tafelbil der. Sie bieten ihrerseits dem Blick ganz eigene, gedämpfte Farb- und Formnuancen an, die an Quel len, Strudel und geschmeidige Bewegungen denken lassen. Uslé fotografiert zwar etwas Gegebe nes, doch durch die Wahl des Aus schnitts und seinen Umgang mit dem technisch erzeugten Bild ent steht eine künstlerische Augen zeugenschaft jenseits der techni schen Exaktheit. Although Uslé’s works are abstract in composition, he occasionally intersperses the form and colour spaces in his pictures with recognis able objects.The two photographs in the EPO collection certainly bear the hallmark of the painter; how ever, the intense and vivid colours that typify his paintings are miss ing. In terms of both form and colour, they reveal distinct and sub tle tempered nuances that evoke thoughts of springs,eddies and fluid movements.While Uslé selects real subjects for his photographs, his choice of detail and his manipula tion of the generated image pro duce an artistic testimony that ex tends far beyond the realms of technical precision. Les travaux Lento 2 (Llerana) et Zona Sombra (Llerana) donnent à voir des formes abstraites qui au torisent plutôt qu’elles n’obligent le spectateur de penser à des im pressions produites par la nature. Uslé pratique une peinture abs traite, mais il lui arrive de parsemer ses motifs de formes et de cou leurs d’objets reconnaissables. Dans les deux photographies,on retrouve certes le regard du peintre, mais non la vivacité des couleurs qui ca ractérise ses tableaux.En effet,tant sur le plan de la forme que des cou leurs, elles font voir des nuances singulières, tempérées,qui font pen ser à des sources, des tourbillons, à des mouvements tout en sou plesse. Uslé prend certes des clichés, mais le choix du cadrage et le trai tement technique auquel il sou met l’image en font un témoignage artistique qui transcende la préci sion technique de la prise de vue.
