The European Patent Office acquires IPscore®, the patent portfolio evaluation tool

IPscore is a special software tool, developed by the Danish Patent and Trademark Office, for estimating the economic value of patents and development projects.
The EPO has recently acquired IPscore from the Danish office and will be offering it to national patent offices and their patent information centres for further distribution. Additional language versions of IPscore are in preparation, so that it can become a useful component of the services offered to industry at local level across Europe.
