Ancillary regulations to the EPC
This is the 2007 edition of the Ancillary Regulations to the EPC, a collection – compiled by the EPO's Directorate-General 3 – of key texts relating to the European patent grant procedure. NB: The authentic text of the Ancillary Regulations is the hard-copy version published by the EPO.
Please note that the revised EPC entered into force on 13 December 2007.
Special edition No. 3 of the EPO Official Journal 2007 (PDF, 1.3 MB) contains an update of the main EPO notices and decisions of the President relevant for patent practitioners. These updated decisions and notices supersede those published in the 2007 edition of the Ancillary Regulations.
In addition to it, the Supplement to the Official Journal 1/2009 "Information from DG3 Appeals" (PDF, 363 KB) contains information updates on texts relating to the appeal proceedings, the Presidium and the Business distribution of the Boards of Appeal.
