Decision of the Administrative Council of 17 June 2004 amending the Regulation on the establishment of an institute of professional representatives before the European Patent Office CA/D 2/04
THE ADMINISTRATIVE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN PATENT ORGANISATION,
Having regard to the European Patent Convention, and in particular Article 134(8)(b) thereof,
Having regard to the Regulation on the establishment of an institute of professional representatives before the European Patent Office of 21 October 1977, as amended by decision of the Administrative Council of the European Patent Organisation of 5 March 1997, and in particular Article 14 thereof,
On a proposal from the President of the European Patent Office and the Council of the Institute of professional representatives before the European Patent Office,
HAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:
Article 1
Article 5(1) of the Regulation on the establishment of an institute of professional representatives before the European Patent Office shall be amended to read as follows:
"(1) All persons on the list of professional representatives before the European Patent
Office (zugelassener Vertreter vor dem EPA, European patent attorney, mandataire en
brevets européens, for short) shall be members of the Institute. No other persons shall be
members.
Article 2
This decision shall enter into force on 17 June 2004.
