Assessment of the impact of the EPLA

Early 2006, the EPO as Secretariat to the Working Party on Litigation published a document explaining how the establishment of a European Patent Court could contribute to strengthening the patent system in Europe. The document also presents cost estimates for European patent litigation before the future court.

The document presents the views of the EPO and does not necessarily reflect the views and opinions of the contracting states to the EPC.
