Below you will find a year-by-year list of European publication numbers which were announced as being for new publications but for which no EP-A document has appeared.

These applications (A1/A2) resp. the search report (A3), were due to be published and so were announced in the European Patent Bulletin (paper and CD-ROM) and on the ESPACE-ACCESS CD-ROM, but they were not actually published. Possible reasons include:
- application withdrawn by applicant
- erroneously publication as the formal requirements have not yet been fulfilled. Therefore the application may be published later (A1/A2 publications under a new publication number).
Although in drawing up these lists the greatest care has been exercised, the EPO cannot couch for the absolute completeness and accuracy of the information given. These lists can be no substitute for the consultation of the Register of European Patents.
