The EPO collects bibliographic data from over 70 countries and legal status
data from more than 40 patent authorities. This data is in a standard XML
format (WIPO ST.36 ) and is available in the form of weekly updates, as well as
cumulated backfiles. The collection comprises bibliographic and legal
status data, as well as EP publications, including full text and images.
