Content description of the manuals
DOC DB: The technical specifications (according to WIPO and ISO standards) of the XML exchange format in the (bibliographic) master database DOCDB as well as the technical description of DOCDB data. Also includes details on standardized data from the different countries and the descriptions of field names and field contents
DOC DB ST30: Warning for the users
TD/104/Y2000: Technical description of IFD data - based on the input from the bibliographic database DOCDB but contains standardizing data from different countries according to INPADOC standards. Description of record formats, record status length etc.
MA/T12EXT 1.6: Description of the legal status exchange format and layout of file records, data records, attribute lists, explanations of legal events tags and a sample file.
REFI: layout descriptions of record formats for categories (citations)
NPL: Non patent literature definition and layout description manual.

This document describes the web service, allowing non-developers to understand the functionality of the service as well as offering developers the necessary information needed in order to connect to and actively use the web service.
MA 001: Rules for standardization and specifications of bibliographic patent data, in IFD (INPADOC) format as well as standardization of country codes and the standardizations of different kinds of documents, document numbers, application and priority numbers, classifications, names, titles, language specifications, calendar data, additional references, family citations, abstract and accession numbers. Tables of bibliographic elements - kind of application and priority numbers and references to literature can be also found in this manual.
MA 003: Contains tables for the IFD (INPADOC) format such as description of formats and types of application and priority numbers, coding of document numbers and application numbers, standardization rules, types of document numbers and the Year 2000 conversion rules.
Appendix i: A number format concordance list of application numbers and priority numbers between DOCDB and INPADOC
