You can save all queries in one single file. With the Query Manager it is quick and safe. Make some searches, from the search screen click on the "Save/Load" button to go to the Query Manager. Take the queries from the History and store them into the query file. Give each query a name and add a comment if you want. And next day, load in one go some queries from the Query Manager.

How can I ensure that the page number shown on the screen corresponds to the page number on the printout?
To ensure that WhatYouSeeIsWhatYouGet, you need to switch on WYSIWYG and MIMOSA will format the pages as they will be printed out. Options/Software/Interface/check the box WYSIWYG

How can I automate my operations?
MIMOBatch is useful if, each time you receive a new database, you make the same queries without changing them. You can then view, extract or print the resulting documents. MIMOBatch is installed by default when you install MIMOSA. You can then launch MIMOBatch from Start / Programs or within MIMOSA from the Menu Tools / MIMOBatch. You can use MIMOBatch to run several queries on one or many databases.

How can I customize my hitlist?
Customize the hitlist by adding one or more notice fields.
>> Options / Product preferences / Hitlist tab
You can choose to add any of the available fields from the panel to the hitlist. Each field added to the list is displayed in an extra column in the Hitlist window. You can then sort your hits by clicking at the top of the appropriate column.
To make it look a little bit tidy you can also activate two other features:
- Hitlist options, display multi references in multi-lines
- Display separation lines

For example, it is possible to search for classes and sort according to applicant.
To do this, select OPTIONS, PRODUCT, PREFERENCES, HIT LIST, click the field(s) you want to add and put it into the box on the right by clicking on the single arrow. When you display your hitlist the field(s) will be included. To sort on a given field just click on the cell at the top of the hitlist which contains the name of the added field."

How can I use the history for an overview of my searches?
During the whole session each valid query you have made is kept into the History. You can then manipulate - append, replace or delete the previous queries. On one single line you will find: a key $1, the result, the database volume and the query.
