Important information concerning fee changes as from 1 April 2008
In accordance with the Decision of the Administrative Council of 14 December 2007 amending the Rules relating to Fees (CA/D 16/07, OJ EPO 2008, 5), the amounts of most procedural fees payable to the EPO under Article 2 RFees will increase with effect from 1 April 2008. The new fee amounts apply to payments made on or after this date. Fees expressed as a percentage of another fee are to be calculated with reference to the new amount of that fee.
By Decision of the President of the EPO dated 31 January 2008 revising the Office’s fees and expenses (to be published in OJ EPO 3/2008), the amounts of the Office’s administrative fees will also increase from 1 April 2008.
The revised Schedule of fees and expenses of the EPO (applicable as from 1 April 2008) is to be published as a Supplement to OJ EPO 3/2008 (PDF, 51 KB).
