Re-key of British legal status data

As of the beginning of April 2008, there has been a delay in the delivery of British legal status (PRS) data due to the changes in their delivery format. Due to the amendments in the GB source data, we have had to alter the dissemination procedure and the GB legal status programme.
Because of the changes that have to be made, the inclusion of GB legal status data has unfortunately been interrupted causing a delay in the update procedure but we estimate that the data will be available in four weeks time. We are sorry about the inconvenience caused to our users by this delay.
In the midst of these changes, we are using this opportunity to make some modifications in the PRS codes in order to enhance the free text string. Additional information, wherever provided, will be made available in the attributes.
In future, most of the 7xxxx codes and the 9xxxx codes will be substituted by a lesser number of codes. These codes will be named S nn (for section) and R nn (for rule).
e.g. 7720 - amended specification will appear as S 72
More information on these changes will be provided to you in a future communication.
Please note: Due to the very frequent usage of the codes listed below, we have decided not to alter these codes. The three following codes will remain in use so that queries programmed with these codes are not disrupted.
