Chinese Taipei/Japan: Start of PPH pilot programme

On 11 April 2012, the Japan Patent Office (JPO) and the Taiwan Patent Office (TIPO) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to start a pilot for a Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH) programme. The JPO is TIPO's second PPH partner after the USPTO. The pilot will start on 1 May 2012.
