Chinese Taipei: Amended Implementing Regulations for new Patent Act released

On 9 November 2012, the Taiwan Patent Office (TIPO) published the new "Enforcement Rules of the Patent Act", which were amended in accordance with the new Patent Act, scheduled to enter into force on 1 January 2013. A number of regulations concerning, inter alia, application formats, corrections and amendments, invalidation and compulsory licensing have either been amended or newly introduced.
