India: Electronic versions of Patent Act and Rules released

The Indian Patent Office has published new electronic versions of its Patent Act 1970 and Patents Rules 2003 on the official website. These versions have now also integrated all amendments made before 26 January 2013. Previously, the amendments were released in separate documents, to be studied in addition to the original laws.

The legal documents can be downloaded in PDF or HTML format from the new "IP Acts and Rules" section of the Indian Patent Office's website.
