Korea: Translations of drawings available in Korean Patent Abstracts

The Korean Patent Office (KIPO) and the Korea Institute of Patent Information (KIPI) have further extended the information available in the Korean Patent Abstracts (KPA). Since January 2013, the KPA also include an English translation of the reference symbols in the representative drawing.

Until now, the KPA already included bibliographic data, title, abstract, legal status information and information on the payment of annual fees in English language.

You can access the KPA via the KPA database in the KIPRIS search system.
