India: patent office has launched new online resources

Désolé. Actuellement, cette page n'existe pas en français.

Recently, the Indian Patent Office launched its "Dynamic Patent Utilities", a dynamic resource which is updated in real time and makes various content available to the public online. The resource contains different tools, which are all accessible via a common web-portal on the official website. Inter alia, the following information can be displayed:

The tool "expired patents" contains patents where the term has expired or which have lapsed due to non-payment of the renewal fee. Another tool allows to view patent applications which were granted, refused or abandoned, according to the so-called examination groups (electrical/electronics, mechanical, chemical and biotechnology) and jurisdiction (Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai). The "first examination reports" (FER) generated in a specified period within these groups and in the different jurisdictions can also be displayed online.
