ASEAN: facilitated design registration in Brunei Darussalam

On 24 September 2013, Brunei Darussalam acceded to the Geneva Act of the Hague Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Industrial Designs. The Hague system is administered by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and provides a mechanism to register an industrial design in several countries by means of a single application, filed in one language, with one set of fees. The Geneva Act will enter into force with respect to Brunei Darussalam on 24 December 2013. (See also this announcement on WIPO's website).
