China: New interface for Chinese CNIPR platform

On 27 December 2010, SIPO officially launched a new Chinese interface of the CNIPR database. The old version, which had been used in parallel with a trial version for several months, is no longer online. Users can search in Chinese and worldwide patent documents on the new CNIPR. A number of features - such as retrieval of documents, citations and legal status information - are available free of charge. More advanced functions are available by taking out a subscription. The search platform can be accessed at: http://www.cnipr.com.cn/
