India: position paper on traditional knowledge published

Through its Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP), the Indian government has published a position paper on traditional knowledge and the negotiations in WIPO. DIPP, which is part of India's Ministry of Commerce and Industry, plans to hold consultations at national level with stakeholders and experts with a view to finding a consensus on the approach to be followed by India.
