Korea: KIPO joins two major classification conventions for IP rights

The Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) became an official member of the "Vienna Agreement" for an international classification of trade marks and of the "Locarno Agreement" for the classification of industrial designs. Both conventions went into effect in Korea on 17 April 2011.
