China: New online publications on trade marks and trade secrets available

The EU-China IPR2 Project has published a documentation on the Chinese trade mark system. "China Trademark Laws & Cases" provides an outline of the Chinese trade mark system, including comments and an analysis of more than 200 trade mark and unfair competition cases and judgments in China from 1993 to 2009.

A new guide on "Trade Secrets Protection in China" has also been released in the "Roadmaps for Intellectual Property Protection" section on the IPR2 website. The series is aimed at European companies seeking information on how to protect their intellectual property in China. Roadmaps on patents, copyright, trade marks, and customs enforcement are also available. All publications can be downloaded as PDF versions free of charge.
