China: Free "C-PAT Search" to be discontinued

SIPO's "Intellectual Property Publishing House" (IPPH) has recently launched a new fee-based database "CNIPR Search", offering a number of advanced search functions in English language to subscription users. More information can be found on the IPPH website.

The previous "C-PAT Search" database can currently still be accessed via the old link, but will soon be discontinued. Document retrieval, English legal status information, machine translation, cross-lingual search, design search and other features will then no longer be available from the IPPH without a payable subscription.
