China/Hong Kong: SIPO and IPD have signed their first agreement on IP co-operation

On 16 November 2011, the State Intellectual Property Office of China (SIPO) and the Intellectual Property Department of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (IPD) signed their first agreement to strengthen co-operation in the area of intellectual property. Areas of co-operation will include, inter alia, exchange of information and publications, staff training, co-organised events and technical exchange.
