India: Patent Office appoints 94 new examiners

The Controller General of the Indian Patent Office (IPO) has announced the appointment of 94 new examiners of patents and designs. According to an article in "The Economic Times" P.H. Kurian, the outgoing Controller General, in an interview earlier in December had acknowledged that a lack of personnel was the biggest challenge facing the Indian Patent Office.
