Content description

European patent applications and specifications is a free database which contains bibliographic data, full text and embedded facsimile images of European patent applications EP-A and granted European patents EP-B. It includes searchable titles in English, French and German.

The abstract, the complete description and the claims of all EP-A documents can be searched in the language of the procedure. References to the PCT publication number for Euro-PCT documents are available.

The complete description of all EP-B documents can be searched in the language of the procedure. Bibliographic data of PCT publications is available for Euro-PCT's.

Recommended use

European patent applications and specifications is suitable for carrying out state-of-the-art searches on EP documents and it is also a good tool for performing follow-up searches (monitoring).
