Re-key of AT 'D' documentation in DOCDB in week (week17/2008)

Newsflash 04/2008

This re-key exercise will cover around approx 93.000 publications and will involve the conversion of all AT applications kind-code 'D' into kind-code 'A' application. Kind-code 'D' has been used in the past in AT 'A' documents to temporarily resolve problems that would otherwise have blocked the updates.

As an additional effect, this exercise will harmonize the kind of application codes of the AT 'A' documents with the kind of application codes in the AT 'B' document resulting in both kinds of documents being brought together under 'A' applications.

The publications affected by this exercise will be exchanged in a dedicated exchange.

In this exchange, there will be one instance of  <exchange-document> with status='A' for every AT publication having a kind-code 'D' application.

The regular delivery of week 17 will be produced on the Friday preceding the re-key exercise and we therefore advise our users to process the 're-key' exchange packages AFTER having processed the regular delivery of week 17. The file will be named <docdb_xml_200817_re-key_AT.zip>

Please refer to the three .xml files below:

BEFORE

1. Publication AT 414279 B as it has been exchanged in the backfile, with application number
AT 4522002 A

AT4522002A-AT414279B.xml

2. Publication AT 4522002 A as it has been exchanged in the backfile, with application number
AT 4522002 D

AT4522002D-AT4522002A. xml

Currently in both documents the attribute "is -representative" is set to "yes"

AFTER

3. Publication AT 4522002 A; as it will be exchanged in the re-key exchange, with application number
AT 4522002 A

AT4522002A-AT4522002A.xml

Attribute 'is-representative' on exchange-document level will be populated with 'NO', as the A-publication is 'laid open to the public'

Application-reference will have status='A', the application-identifier has changed

4. Publication AT 414279 B remains unchanged and will therefore not be exchanged.

Using the current versions of the dtd and the xsds you will be able to open the sample xml files in an XML editor.
