Changes in the status tag L013EP

Désolé. Actuellement, cette page n'existe pas en français.

From week 50/2008 onwards, a new PRS status-value in tag L013EP will be introduced to distinguish the "delete" records from the "optional delete" records.

This attribute status (tag L013EP) will be identified by the letter "O"

Please note:

"O" = optional delete
"D" = delete (actual 'delete' records)
"N" = new record

 The 'optional delete' records will apply to data specifically selected for deletion in our database because the same information is duplicated in another record; e.g.: A record "entry into the national phase" (PRS code = WO ENP) will be chosen for deletion if the same information is available under the WO WWE code.

The same principle will also be valid for the legal event "annual payment of fees" (PRS code = EP PGFP) for records of fee payment of previous years because, if a payment has been made for the 13th year, it is highly probable that previous payments have also already been made and therefore, there is no need for repetitions of earlier fee payments in the database and the duplications will be deleted.

The "O" attributes will be included in the T12 Weekly Updates Delivery along with the usual delete records.

The decision about whether to maintain the duplicated records or to delete them is left to our users.
