II.1.4) Short description:Within the European Patent Office a new working concept has been formulated and may be (partially) implemented in the near future at all places of employment (Munich (DE), The Hague (NL), Berlin (DE), Vienna (AT)). The new working concept is based on focus, flexibility, collaboration and comfort. Workplaces will be designed as points for focus & concentration, knowledge sharing, learning, social interaction.

To facilitate this new working concept the EPO may want to purchase various items of furniture including accessories in addition to current furniture already in place.
