Seit dem 1. Oktober 2022 ist Montenegro (ME) kein Erstreckungsstaat mehr, sondern Vertragsstaat.

Um die Nutzung seiner Tools und Dienste im Bereich der Patentinformation zu erleichtern, hat das EPA kürzlich eine Reihe von kurzen Videos unter dem Titel Patent Knowledge Nuggets gestartet. Sie behandeln bestimmte Aspekte des Patentwissens und der jeweiligen Patentinformationstools und -dienste. Nun wurden weitere Patent Knowledge Nuggets der bestehenden Sammlung hinzugefügt. Sie schließen Videos zu Espacenet, Veröffentlichungsstufen und Dokumentenartencode sowie einen Ausblick auf das Einheitspatent im Europäischen Patentregister ein und sind über die entsprechende playlist auf dem offiziellen YouTube-Kanal des EPA abrufbar.
