Actors of innovation
Innovation is driven by a number of players. Within any innovation system, there is a constant interplay between companies, research organisations, individuals, governments and others. There are startups, often the source of disruptive innovation, bringing new technical solutions to the markets; consumers seeking new products; and governments, both local and national, shaping the framework in which innovation happens.
