Case Law of the Boards of Appeal – new edition out now
The Boards of Appeal are delighted to announce the publication of the 11th edition of the “Case Law of the Boards of Appeal of the EPO”.
Building on the interim reviews published last year, the entire publication has been updated to provide an overview of the evolution of the Boards of Appeal’s case law, reflecting almost 9 000 decisions issued in writing up to the end of 2024.
The 2025 edition is available in HTML format, and includes links to the cited decisions. It offers additional features to provide regular updates between editions, such as quarterly updates of important new decisions in the sidebar of the relevant sections, as well as annual interim reviews of selected chapters ahead of the next triennial edition. The search page on epo.org also features an RSS feed for users who wish to stay informed of the latest decisions matching the criteria of your choice. The BoA web-section also features quick access to recent or selected decisions.
