IP assessment: how to improve informed decision-making
********** THIS TRAINING IS FULLY BOOKED **********
This interactive online training is dedicated to the assessment of technologies and patents and will consist of three consecutive sessions.
Purpose of the training
Evaluating the risks and opportunities associated with innovation projects is critical for the successful introduction of new products or services. However, the required selection process often lacks clarity and sophistication. To address these challenges, the European Patent Office (EPO) has partnered with the European IP Helpdesk.
Key benefits
Participants will gain access to effective strategies and a specially designed tool, IPscore, which can be utilized to evaluate research projects and innovations. The workshop will enable attendees to:
Develop a clearer understanding of the commercialization potential of their technologies.
Enhance strategic decision-making capabilities.
Prioritize projects effectively, thereby optimizing time and resource allocation.
Format and engagement
Participants are encouraged to attend all three sessions and apply the methodologies presented to their own products and services. This hands-on approach will provide practical insights and tools for immediate implementation. For further information about the tool, see http://epo.org/ipscore
Please note that, apart from the sessions, extra preparation time for the cases and application of the tool is required.
