PATLIB introductory sessions

The introductory sessions provide a harmonised approach helping new PATLIB centres and new members of staff of existing PATLIB centres gain access to coherent information and knowledge. The package is delivered in a series of four online events:

1. Part I: introduction to the PATLIB network itself, its goals as well as information on points of contact and support in all issues regarding PATLIB and an introduction to the European patent procedure.
2. Part II: presentation on the benefits of patent information and basic search skills in Espacenet and the European Patent Register services.
3. Part III: access to tools available for the network, advanced online training courses, single access portal.
4. Part IV: collaborating with other innovation networks and knowledge transfer initiatives.
