Patenting Innovation (RTTP-recognised)

Patents are a powerful asset in the toolbox of any technology transfer professional.

This course covers how to protect innovative ideas with patents and how to manage and license these patents. Topics include the patent system and other related IP rights, patent knowledge and tools, and how IP is used in business environments. The course is developed in collaboration with the Alliance of Technology Transfer Professionals and merits 11 continuing education (CE) points for the Registered Technology Transfer Professional (RTTP) qualification.
