Introduction to the European patent system and to the Unitary patent system

This seminar will provide an overview of the European patent system and of the Unitary patent system.

Participants will have the opportunity to ask any procedural questions directly to the EPO presenters. The seminar will address the main procedural steps before the EPO, from filing an application to post-grant procedures, as well as the interface with the national patent authorities.

Participants will also receive a general insight into the Unitary patent system and into the role of the EPO as PCT authority.
