Advanced topics on AI

This advanced-level AI seminar builds on last year’s tutored programme on computer-implemented inventions and the patenting seminar series on artificial intelligence.

The seminar comprises two online sessions of two hours each:

• The first online session addresses the general challenges of AI-related patent applications
• The second online session will focus on practices and procedures related to assessing AI-related patent applications

The first online session is open to patent examiners and patent attorneys, while the second is reserved for patent examiners only.

In addition to the two online sessions, participants and experts can interact via a dedicated forum within the online course room, which also provides materials for self-study. 

The live online sessions are scheduled as below:

Session 1: 4 November, at 09.30 hrs CET (GMT +01:00) Central European Time

Session 2: 11 November, at 09.30 hrs CET (GMT +01:00) Central European Time
