Search III: drafting a search report and a written opinion; re-using EPO work products

The last workshop on search focuses on how to draft a search report and a written opinion. It too will consist of self-paced study of learning materials and two practice-oriented online sessions. In the first session group exercises will be proposed and discussed to illustrate the drafting of a search report and a first written opinion. After the first session participants will process one of their own searches using this methodology step by step and subsequently share their experience in the second session. Group exercises will also be proposed in the second session to retrieve corresponding EPO work products in public EPO databases. Tutors will supervise the learning process and answer any questions posted in a forum between the two online sessions.
