PCT for paralegals and patent agents

A large number of PCT applicants at the EPO are based in Europe. In recent years, the EPO has regularly participated in live events across Europe to explain how to use specific features of its online filing tools in relation to all PCT procedures, as well as the benefits of using the EPO not only as an International Searching Authority but also for Chapter II, which often results in faster processing in the regional (European) phase.

This online lecture is aimed at paralegals and patent agents with a role in administering the PCT procedure. It looks at the services provided by the EPO as well as the latest developments in the PCT system, providing practical information on EPO online services such as secure online access, online filing and the electronic Mailbox in MyEPO as they relate to the PCT.
