Programme

This is a unique opportunity to see how the European Patent Office (EPO) has continually transformed itself over the past 50 years and continues to shape the future today. Our 3 000 m² underground Culture Space is designed to spark creativity and innovation: kick off your visit with a live artist talk in the Cosmic Bar, featuring Esther Stocker in conversation with the curator of the EPO art collection, or meet a patent examiner who will explain his fascinating daily work at the forefront of technology.

Throughout the evening, ticketholders can explore eight exhibitions, view contemporary art displayed in the former patent archive and printing facility, discover the history of the European patent system or deep dive into digital image mosaics.

Whether you are passionate about science, innovation and art, or simply interested in how new ideas and inventions enter our daily lives, there is something for everyone.

Bring your family and friends to experience the EPO from a new perspective. We look forward to welcoming you.
