Exposure to loud noise can cause hearing loss, high blood pressure, heart disease, sleep disturbances and stress. Rhona Togher and Eimear O’Carroll developed an advanced acoustic material to tackle noise pollution. What began as a school science fair project evolved into a business with a unique product and exceptional potential. In this episode, the Rhona (European Inventor Award 2023, winner, SMEs) will share her insights and highlight the obstacles young inventors may face in going from lab to market.
