Taking place in Lisbon and online on 25 November 2026, the event will bring together judges, policymakers, representatives of IP institutions, academics, arbitrators, lawyers and other practitioners from Europe and beyond. It will also mark an important milestone for PMAC as it prepares to launch its arbitration services and further develop its role as an international forum for IP and technology disputes.
Particular attention will be given to SEP/FRAND disputes, including judicial perspectives on global licensing and the ongoing work of the PMAC FRAND Guidelines Working Group. A dedicated session will examine the Working Group’s discussion paper as part of the broader consultation process on the future FRAND Guidelines.
The programme will also address European ADR policy, the arbitrability of disputes concerning the validity and ownership of IP rights, and arbitration in patent licensing, technology transfer and the life sciences.
