Joining Pride The Hague 2025
Last Saturday, over 60 members of the EPO Rainbow Group, their families, friends and allies joined Pride Walk in The Hague. This marked the first time the EPO participated in the event and the first Pride The Hague since 2019. The walk attracted around 2 000 participants from all over the city and beyond. At a time when championing diversity, inclusion and acceptance is more important than ever, participation in the Pride Walk reflects the EPO’s support for diversity, inclusion and the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBTQ+) community, and reaffirms The Hague’s position as a “Rainbow Municipality” promoting equality and respect for all.
While Pride is about visibility, it is also about protest and remembrance. Pride The Hague is held on the same day as The International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT), an important day for recalling and for raising awareness of ongoing LGBTQ+ rights violations.
Pride is also a colourful party, which celebrates the richness and variety of queer culture. The EPO Rainbow Group, one of our diversity networks, warmly invites colleagues, friends and allies to join them for Munich Pride on 28 June!
